# About Linkbreakers

> Linkbreakers is lead capture infrastructure for the physical world, built for marketers, agencies and developers.

Linkbreakers is lead capture infrastructure for the physical world. A QR code or a link placed on a sign, a product, a booth, a flyer or a table becomes the entry point of a workflow, and that workflow turns an anonymous scan into an identified visitor with the attributes the business chooses to collect.

## What we build

Every link in Linkbreakers owns its destination, its workflow and its analytics. Workflows chain steps such as forms, password gates, contact cards, multi-link pages and social links pages, and route visitors with conditions on country, device, time of day, first scan or rescan, and the data a visitor already gave. Each visit is recorded as a journey, so a team can see how far people got and who they are, not only how many times a code was scanned.

Leads leave Linkbreakers the way a team already works: webhooks, a REST API, SDKs in TypeScript, Python, Go, Java and Rust, a command-line interface, and an MCP server that lets AI assistants such as Claude and Cursor build and manage campaigns. Zapier, Make.com and n8n connect the rest.

## Who uses it

More than 1,000 teams use Linkbreakers, from universities and event organisers to retail, hospitality and healthcare. Agencies and developers build their own niche lead capture products on top of the API, SDKs and white-label options, and Enterprise plans add dedicated infrastructure, SLAs and compliance commitments.

## How we run it

Linkbreakers publishes its reliability numbers instead of promising them: a [median scan response measured in milliseconds](/help/article/how-fast-is-a-linkbreakers-scan) and [zero server errors across months of sustained traffic](/help/article/linkbreakers-uptime-zero-server-errors). The platform is GDPR compliant, and the [privacy statement](/privacy) explains what is collected and why.
