### Live, not batched

Scans appear before the visitor's page has finished loading. No overnight export, no sampling.

### Unique versus returning

One phone scanning three codes is one visitor, and coming back a second time is the signal worth having.

### Where it worked

City, country, device, browser and referrer per scan, so you can compare one placement against another honestly.

Per placement

## Which poster worked, not which campaign.

Give every placement its own code and compare them on the same axes. A code per gate, per store, per print run, per city.

* Unlimited codes, all tracked the same way
* Tag by location, campaign or print run
* Bulk create a whole rollout at once

Beyond the count

## A scan is anonymous. A visitor does not have to be.

Add a step to the code and the same analytics carry a name, an email and the answers someone gave you. The scan becomes a contact you can act on.

* Forms, contact cards and choices
* Answers attached to the visitor, not the scan
* Returning visitors recognised across codes

Your stack

## The numbers where you already work.

Export to CSV, push to a webhook, or send every scan straight into your CRM as it happens.

* One-click CSV for any range
* Webhooks for any endpoint
* Make, Zapier or n8n

FAQ

## Frequently asked questions

Everything about measuring QR codes.

What data do QR code analytics actually capture?

City, country, device, operating system, browser, referrer and timestamp for every scan, plus whether that visitor has scanned before. Read [what you can collect from a scan](https://linkbreakers.com/help/article/what-data-you-can-collect-from-qr-code-scans).

Can I track a QR code I have already printed?

Only if it was made as a dynamic code. A static code has the destination baked into the image and cannot be measured or changed. See [dynamic versus static QR codes](https://linkbreakers.com/features/dynamic-qr-codes).

How quickly does a scan appear?

Immediately. The dashboard updates before the visitor's page has finished loading.

Is there a limit on scans?

No. Every scan is tracked whatever the volume, on every plan including the free one.

Can I tell a repeat scan from a new one?

Yes. Returning visitors are flagged automatically and carry their full scan history, across every code in the workspace.

Can I export the data?

Yes, one-click CSV for any time range, plus webhooks and integrations if you would rather it arrived on its own.

Is QR code analytics GDPR compliant?

Yes. We collect the minimum needed to report a scan and nothing that identifies someone who has not chosen to tell you. Read about [our GDPR compliance](https://linkbreakers.com/help/article/is-linkbreakers-gdpr-compliant).
