Short answer

You can now customize your analytics dashboard by talking to Linky, the Linkbreakers AI assistant. Click "Edit Dashboard" to open the AI panel, describe what you want to see, and your dashboard updates in real time.

What we shipped

The analytics dashboard now includes a built-in AI assistant that understands your data and can build the perfect dashboard for you.

What you can do

  • Add widgets — "Show me events over time" or "Add a geo breakdown of my scans"
  • Customize visualizations — "Change the chart type to a bar chart" or "Use a stacked area chart for device breakdown"
  • Remove and rearrange — "Remove the visitor trends widget" or "I only want to see the top links"
  • Ask questions — "What data sources are available?" or "Can you show traffic by country?"

How it works

  1. Open your analytics dashboard
  2. Click the Edit Dashboard button (blocks icon)
  3. Describe the widgets you want in plain language
  4. Your dashboard updates live as the AI creates and configures widgets

The AI knows all available data sources — events over time, geo breakdown, device distribution, visitor trends, top performing links, hour-of-day patterns, and workspace metrics. It picks the right chart type, colors, and field mappings automatically.

Available data sources

  • Events over time (line, area, bar charts)
  • Geographic breakdown by country or city
  • Device type distribution (desktop, mobile, tablet)
  • Visitor trends (new vs returning)
  • Hour-of-day scan patterns
  • Top performing links
  • Grouped time series (split by country, device, browser, etc.)
  • Workspace and event metrics

Conversation history

Your conversation with the AI is saved per dashboard. Close and reopen the panel — your previous messages and context are preserved.

Frequently asked questions

Does this use platform credits?

Yes, each AI interaction uses a small number of platform credits. The cost is capped per exchange to keep it predictable.

Can I still edit widgets manually?

Absolutely. The AI and manual editing work side by side. You can use the AI to set up your dashboard quickly, then fine-tune individual widgets manually if needed.

What model powers the assistant?

The analytics assistant uses GPT-4o for fast, accurate widget management with low latency.
