# Focused forms and a live page theme preview

> Page themes now set the visitor experience: Classic, or Focused with one question at a time. Pages of a link move without reloading, and the editor previews the real visitor page.

## Short answer

Page themes now carry a **visitor experience**. Classic keeps a form on one page. Focused shows the same form one question at a time, Typeform style, with the same look as Classic. Every page of a link now moves to the next without reloading, and the page theme editor previews the real visitor page, which you can click through on a phone or a desktop.

## What we shipped

### Focused visitor experience

Pick **Focused** in the new **Visitor experience** panel of the page theme editor and every form on the link asks one question per screen:

- It keeps your theme exactly as Classic draws it: same title, fields and buttons
- Enter moves on, letter keys pick a choice, and a single choice moves forward on its own
- Each answer is checked before moving on, so mistakes are caught where they happen
- Answers survive an accidental reload until they are sent

The answers are still submitted together at the end. Integrations, webhooks and visitor attributes receive the same data as before.

### Pages that flow into each other

Moving from one page of a link to the next no longer reloads the browser. The next page fades in over the same background, the address bar follows, and the back button works as visitors expect. This applies to every link, whichever experience its theme uses.

### A preview that is the real page

The page theme editor now shows the visitor page itself instead of a drawing of it. Every page of your link is one click away, a toggle switches between phone and desktop, and you can fill the form to try the Focused flow. Nothing done in the preview is recorded. Templates preview on a sample form, a multi-link page and a thank you page.

### Everywhere you manage themes

The visitor experience is part of the page theme API (`visitor_experience`), page theme templates, the MCP tools and the Assistant, which picks Focused when you ask for a form that asks one question at a time.

## Frequently asked questions

**Does Focused change the data I collect?**

No. Only the presentation changes. The answers are sent in one submission at the end, like a Classic form.

**Can I use Focused on one link and Classic on another?**

Yes. The visitor experience belongs to the page theme, and every link has its own theme.

**Which plans include it?**

Every plan, including Free.

**Do I need to change anything on existing links?**

No. Existing themes stay Classic until you choose Focused.

**Does the preview count as a visit?**

No. The preview loads your pages but never sends interactions, so no visits, form submissions or integrations are triggered.
