Short answer

A social links page is a workflow step that displays your social media profiles on a single branded page. Visitors scan your QR code and see icons for each platform — Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, and others — and tap to follow or connect. Linkbreakers auto-detects the platform from the URL and shows the right icon. Every click is tracked so you can see which platforms your audience prefers.

Try it yourself

Try creating a social links page with the AI builder. It will ask you for your profile URLs.

Quick summary

  • Add a social links page step to any QR code workflow
  • Display up to 10 social media links with auto-detected platform icons
  • Choose between two display styles: detailed buttons or compact icon row
  • Platform icons are detected automatically from the URL — Instagram, TikTok, Twitter/X, Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn, GitHub, and WhatsApp
  • Track which links visitors click to understand platform preferences
  • Drag and drop to reorder links — the first link is highlighted as the primary one
  • Combine with other workflow steps like forms or conditions for richer journeys

A social links page is a single page that presents all your social media profiles in one place. When a visitor scans your QR code, they land on a branded page showing icons and links for each platform you have added. They tap the platform they prefer and go directly to your profile.

This is the workflow step equivalent of a "link in bio" page. The difference is that it lives inside a Linkbreakers workflow, so you can combine it with forms, conditions, password gates, and other steps — and every interaction is tracked.

From the workflow editor

  1. Open any link's workflow in the dashboard
  2. Click a connector between two existing steps (or after the link visit step)
  3. Select Social Links Page from the step type menu
  4. The step editor panel opens on the right side

From the AI builder

Click Build with AI in the workflow editor and describe what you want:

  • "Add a social links page with my Instagram, YouTube, and LinkedIn"
  • "Replace the redirect with a social links page"
  • "Add a social links page after the form"

The AI creates the step and wires it into the flow. It will ask for your profile URLs.

Configuring the page

Title and description

Add an optional title (e.g. "Connect with us" or "Follow along") and description (e.g. "Find us on your favorite platform"). These appear at the top of the page above the social links.

Add up to 10 social media links. For each link, paste the full URL to your profile:

Linkbreakers detects the platform automatically from the URL and displays the corresponding icon. If the URL does not match a known platform, a generic website icon is used.

Drag and drop links to change their order. The first link in the list is visually highlighted as the primary link — put your most important platform first.

Display styles

Choose between two layouts:

Detailed (default) — Each link appears as a full-width button showing the platform icon and name. Good when you have 3-6 links and want each one to stand out.

Compact — Links appear as a horizontal row of icons only, without labels. Good for 5+ links when you want a clean, minimalist look.

How it differs from other step types

Step type Purpose Best for
Social links page Display social media profiles with platform icons Growing followers, "link in bio" use case
Multi-link page Buttons with custom labels linking to any destination Presenting choices (products, menus, actions)
Contact card Downloadable vCard with full contact information Sharing business contact details for saving

A social links page is focused on social media profiles. A multi-link page is more flexible — any label, any destination. A contact card generates a downloadable contact file.

You can use all three in the same workflow. For example: a form collecting email, then a social links page encouraging follows, then a redirect to your website.

Common use cases

Creators and influencers

Print a QR code on merchandise, business cards, or at events. Fans scan and see all your platforms — YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, Spotify — on one page. Track which platform gets the most taps to understand where your audience prefers to follow you.

Businesses and brands

Add a QR code to product packaging, receipts, or signage. Customers scan and see your social channels. Combine with a form step to collect their email before showing the social links page.

Networking events

Put a QR code on your badge or business card. Instead of a contact card, show a social links page so people can follow you on the platform they actually use. Track which platform drives the most connections from each event.

Restaurants and venues

Place a QR code on table tents or near the register. After a feedback form, show a social links page encouraging guests to follow you on Instagram, leave a Google review, or join your Facebook group.

Analytics and tracking

Every tap on a social link is tracked as an event. In your dashboard you can see:

  • How many visitors viewed the social links page
  • Which specific link each visitor tapped
  • The platform breakdown across all visitors
  • Drop-off rate (visitors who saw the page but did not tap any link)

This data helps you understand which platforms resonate with your audience and where to focus your content efforts.

Frequently asked questions

Up to 10 links per social links page.

Yes. Any URL works. If it does not match a known platform (Instagram, TikTok, etc.), Linkbreakers displays a generic website icon.

Can I customize the icons or colors?

The platform icons are automatic and consistent. To customize the overall page appearance (background color, button styles, fonts), use the page theme editor — apply a theme to the link and it affects all interaction pages including the social links page.

Yes. Social links pages work like any other workflow step. You can place them after a form, behind a password gate, inside a condition branch, or before a redirect. For example: collect an email first, then show your social profiles.

Yes. Create a link with a social links page as the only step, and you have a trackable link in bio page. Put the link URL in your Instagram, TikTok, or Twitter bio. See what is a link in bio page for more on this use case.

What is the difference between detailed and compact display style?

Detailed shows each link as a full-width button with the platform name. Compact shows icons only in a horizontal row. Use detailed when you have fewer links and want labels visible. Use compact for a cleaner look with many links.

Limits and caveats

  • Feature availability and limits can vary by plan and workspace setup.
  • Platform detection depends on the URL matching known patterns. Custom domains for social profiles may show a generic icon.
  • Up to 10 links per social links page.
