Short answer
Every link that shows something to a visitor — a form, a contact card, a social links page, a thank you page — renders with a page theme. You can set that theme three ways: pick a preset, describe the colours you want, or attach a screenshot of your website and ask the assistant to match it. The assistant reads the palette off the image and applies it in one step.
Three ways to set the look
| Method | What you say | Best when |
|---|---|---|
| Preset | "Use the Ocean Blue theme" | You want something tidy and have no brand palette |
| Description | "Cream background, dusty pink buttons, serif headings" | You know your colours |
| Screenshot | Attach an image, "match this" | Your brand lives on a site you can screenshot |
Presets
Six presets ship with every workspace: Clean White, Dark Mode, Ocean Blue, Warm Sunset, Forest Green, and Colorful Pink. Naming one is the fastest route to a page that does not look like a default.
Describing your colours
The assistant understands ordinary colour language and hex codes equally well. "A dark page with lime green buttons" and "background #111111, buttons #A3E635" both work. You can set the background, button and text colours, gradients, and the heading font.
Attaching a screenshot
Take a screenshot of your homepage and drop it into the chat, then ask for the page to match it. The assistant reads the image directly, pulls out the dominant background, accent and text colours, and applies them as a theme.
It will tell you which values it took and where it took them from, so a wrong reading is quick to correct: "the accent should be the pink from the header, not the grey from the footer."
Step-by-step
- Open the AI builder and describe the link you want, including the styling: "Create a rating form for my customers, then redirect to my Instagram. Style the page to match my website."
- The assistant asks which site to match. Give it the URL, describe the colours, or attach a screenshot.
- It builds the workflow and applies the theme together.
- Ask for adjustments in plain language: "make the buttons darker", "use a serif font for the heading."
You do not have to get the styling right in the first message. Building first and restyling afterwards works just as well.
Limits and caveats
- The theme styles the pages your visitors land on. It does not change the QR code itself — that is a separate QR code design, with its own colours and shapes.
- A plain redirect has no page to style. If your link sends visitors straight to another website, there is nothing between the scan and the destination.
- Matching a screenshot copies the colours, not the layout. You get your palette on a Linkbreakers page, not a replica of your homepage.
- Colours read from a photograph of a screen are less reliable than a real screenshot. Screenshot the site rather than photographing your monitor.
Frequently asked questions
Can it match my logo instead of my website?
Yes. Any image works as a colour reference — a logo, a brand guide page, a product photo. The assistant reads the palette off whatever you attach.
Does the theme apply to every link I make?
No. A theme belongs to the link you are working on. To reuse a look across a campaign, ask the assistant to apply the same theme when it builds the next link.
Can I change the theme after people have started scanning?
Yes. The theme is applied at the moment of the scan, so an update takes effect immediately for everyone, including on codes already printed.
What if I do not have a website?
Describe what you want instead. "Warm and minimal, off-white with brown text" is enough to work from.
Can I set the font?
Yes. Ask for a heading font by name or by feel — "something serif", "a rounded sans" — and the assistant picks from the available families.
