Short answer
The AI workflow builder lets you create and edit workflows by describing what you want in plain language. Click Build with AI in the workflow editor to open the assistant, then tell it what to build. It can add steps, connect the flow, change settings, and style your pages — all from a single conversation.
Quick summary
- Open any link's workflow and click Build with AI in the top bar
- Describe changes in natural language — the assistant builds them live on your canvas
- Create forms, redirects, password gates, contact cards, multi-link pages, and conditions
- The assistant automatically wires new steps into your flow (connects the edges)
- Apply page themes with color presets directly from the chat
- Use interactive choices when the assistant needs your input on ambiguous requests
- Conversation history is saved — pick up where you left off
Getting started
Open any link's workflow editor. In the top bar, click the Build with AI button (the blocks icon). This opens a chat panel on the right side of the screen.
Type what you want to change in the text field and press Enter. The assistant will modify your workflow and the canvas updates in real time.
What you can do
Create workflow steps
Ask the assistant to add any step type to your workflow:
- Forms — collect visitor information with customizable fields
- Redirections — send visitors to any URL
- Password gates — protect content with a password
- Contact cards — show downloadable vCards
- Multi-link pages — offer multiple button choices
- Social links pages — display your social media profiles
- Conditions — route visitors by country, device, time, visit history, and more
The assistant places new steps on the canvas, creates the connections, and wires everything into the flow automatically.
Modify existing steps
You can update any step by describing the change:
- "Change the redirect destination to example.com"
- "Update the password to 'newpass123'"
- "Add a phone number field to the form"
The assistant finds the right step from context — you don't need to specify which step if there's only one of that type.
Apply page themes
Ask the assistant to style your interaction pages. It can change colors, apply presets, and adjust fonts:
- "Make it pink"
- "Apply a dark theme"
- "Use ocean blue colors"
Theme changes affect all interaction pages on the link (forms, password gates, contact cards, etc.). The assistant will ask you to confirm before applying.
Set up conditions
Add intelligent routing to your workflow:
- "Route mobile users to a different page than desktop"
- "Show a different form for visitors from France"
- "Use a different redirect on weekends"
The assistant creates the condition step, sets up the options, and connects each path.
How the conversation works
Interactive choices
When your request is ambiguous, the assistant shows clickable options instead of guessing. For example, if you say "add a full name field," it might offer:
- Single field — one text field labeled "Full Name"
- First + Last name — two separate fields that auto-populate visitor profiles (recommended)
Click your choice and the assistant applies it immediately.
Confirmations
Before making changes that affect multiple pages (like theme updates) or removing steps, the assistant asks for confirmation with a clear Confirm / Cancel choice.
Multi-part requests
You can make compound requests in a single message:
"Add a form with email and full name before the redirect, change the destination to google.fr, and make the styling pink."
The assistant handles all parts — creating the form, rewiring the connections, updating the redirect, and applying the theme — in one go.
Tips for better results
Be specific about what you want
The more detail you provide, the better the result:
- Instead of "add a form," say "add a form with email and first name before the redirect"
- Instead of "make it look nice," say "use a dark theme with blue accents"
- Instead of "add a condition," say "route visitors from the US to one page and everyone else to another"
Let it handle the wiring
You don't need to think about connections. When you say "add a form before the redirect," the assistant disconnects the old link, creates the form, and reconnects everything in the right order.
Use it for quick iterations
The AI builder is great for rapid prototyping. Describe your ideal visitor journey and let it build the skeleton, then fine-tune individual steps in the side panel if needed.
Limitations
The AI workflow builder can create and modify workflow steps and page themes. For other customizations, use the dedicated tools:
- QR code design — use the QR Designer button in the top bar
- Link settings (name, tags, fallback destination) — click the link name in the top bar
- Detailed form field editing — use the form editor in the side panel for advanced field options
- Badge and cover images — use the Page Theme editor for media uploads
