Short answer
For three months, Linkbreakers has answered more than 200,000 requests every two weeks to QR codes and short links, with zero server errors. Not a low error rate: none.
The data
What this means for your QR codes
- Your printed codes keep working. A QR code on a poster, a menu or a business card resolves every time it is scanned.
- Improvements never interrupt scans. We ship updates often, and visitors never notice.
- Problems fix themselves. If part of the service stops answering, traffic moves away from it automatically.
Limits and caveats
- The chart shows 14 consecutive days of request logs. The volume and the zero error count have held for three months.
- Uptime is about Linkbreakers answering. Whether the website a link sends people to is up is outside our control.
Frequently asked questions
Do scans fail while you ship updates?
No. A new version is ready and answering before the old one stops, so there is always a version answering.
What counts as a server error?
Any time our service fails to answer a request it should have answered. Requests for links that do not exist are answered with a "not found", which is the correct answer, not an error.
