Short answer
Open a link's workflow and click Analytics. If the link has no dashboard yet, Linkbreakers offers to build one with AI: the assistant reads the link's workflow steps, proposes widgets that fit what it found, and creates the dashboard only after you have agreed on the contents. Once the dashboard exists, the same button opens it directly.
Quick summary
- Any link can have exactly one analytics dashboard of its own
- Every widget on a link dashboard is filtered to that link automatically
- The AI assistant proposes widgets based on the link's actual workflow steps before creating anything
- Link dashboards appear in the dashboard switcher on the Insights page, next to the workspace-wide dashboard
- Deleting a link deletes its dashboard
- The workspace-wide dashboard is unchanged and still covers everything
How it works
1. Open the link's workflow
Go to your link and open the workflow editor. In the top bar you'll find an Analytics button next to Build with AI.
2. Choose to build a dashboard
If this link has no dashboard yet, clicking Analytics opens a short confirmation explaining what the assistant is about to do. Choosing Build with AI takes you to a full-page conversation with Linky.
3. Let the assistant read your workflow
Linky starts by analysing the link and its workflow steps, then proposes a handful of concrete widgets, each tied to something it actually found in the workflow. For example:
| What's in the workflow | What Linky tends to suggest |
|---|---|
| A form step | Submissions over time, completion rate |
| A contact card | Saves to contacts, opens by device |
| A multi-link page | Which link gets clicked most |
| A condition step | How traffic splits across branches |
| Any link at all | Scans over time, geography, device mix, new vs returning |
4. Shape it together
Nothing is created yet. Tell the assistant what to keep, drop, or add. Ask for a different chart type. Ask what else is available. This is the point of the step, the dashboard is agreed before it exists.
5. Review the result
Once you're happy, Linky creates the dashboard, adds the agreed widgets, and offers a button to open it. You land on a page dedicated to that link.
Link dashboards vs the workspace dashboard
| Workspace dashboard | Link dashboard | |
|---|---|---|
| Covers | Everything in the workspace | One link |
| How many | One per workspace | One per link |
| Link filter | QR code filter, set manually | Fixed to the link, nothing to set |
| Found at | Insights | The link's workflow → Analytics |
Both appear in the dashboard switcher on the Insights page, so you can move between them without going back through the workflow editor.
Editing a link dashboard later
Open the dashboard and use Edit Dashboard to talk to Linky exactly as you would on the workspace dashboard, add widgets, remove them, change chart types, or drag them into a different order. The assistant already knows the dashboard is scoped to this link, so you never need to mention the link in your requests.
Frequently asked questions
Can a link have more than one dashboard?
No, one per link. That's what lets the Analytics button be unambiguous: it either opens the dashboard or offers to build it.
Do I need to filter a link dashboard by link?
No. Filtering is automatic and cannot be turned off, which is the point: the numbers on a link dashboard always describe that link.
Why doesn't Linky suggest a "top performing links" widget?
Because it's meaningless when the dashboard only ever reports on one link. The assistant leaves it out on purpose.
What happens if I delete the link?
The dashboard is deleted along with it, including its conversation history.
Does this affect my existing analytics?
No. The workspace-wide dashboard keeps all its widgets and its QR code filter.
