# Classic Serif

White canvas, black text, no container.

## About this theme

A white page, black Times New Roman, and no card at all. Nothing competes with the words, which makes it a good fit for writing, invitations and anything that wants to read as printed rather than designed.

## Frequently asked questions

### Why is there no container?

The card exists to separate content from a busy background. On a plain white canvas it only adds a visible seam, so this theme drops it.

### Can I add my logo?

Yes. Enable the badge and upload an image; it sits above the headline and inherits the shape you pick.

### Is a serif harder to read on a phone?

At the sizes here, no. The body is set at 17px, slightly larger than the default, which is what keeps a serif comfortable on a small screen.
