FAQ

Thanks for using our QR Code Generator!

Here is a list of common questions you may have...

Advanced Features

How does scannability detection work?
Our generator includes real-time scannability analysis. As you customize your QR code, we automatically scan it using the same algorithms found in smartphone cameras. If your design choices (like low contrast colors, complex patterns, or oversized logos) make the code difficult to read, you'll see a warning immediately — before you print or publish.
What color modes are available?
You can choose between three color modes for dots, corners, and background: Solid applies a single uniform color. Linear gradient creates a smooth transition between colors along a straight line — you can adjust the angle and add multiple color stops. Radial gradient creates a circular color transition from the center outward, perfect for creating depth and visual interest.
What dot shapes can I use?
We offer 10 unique dot styles to match your brand:
  • Square — Classic, sharp-edged modules for a traditional look
  • Rounded — Softened corners for a modern, friendly appearance
  • Extra Rounded — Fully circular dots for a playful, contemporary style
  • Dots — Small circular points with spacing between them
  • Classy — Elegant asymmetric shape with one rounded corner
  • Classy Rounded — Smooth organic shape for a sophisticated look
  • Bubbly Dots — Varied-size circles for a dynamic, organic feel
  • Hexagon — Six-sided geometric pattern for a tech-forward aesthetic
  • Octagon — Eight-sided modules for a unique geometric style
  • Circuit Chip — Tech-inspired pattern resembling microchip traces
What corner styles are available?
The three corner markers (finder patterns) can be customized separately from the dots. For the outer corner squares, choose from: Square, Rounded, or Extra Rounded. For the inner corner dots, select either Square or Dot. Mixing different styles creates unique visual effects while maintaining scannability.
Can I add a logo to my QR code?
Yes. Upload any image to place it in the center of your QR code. You can adjust the logo size (as a percentage of the QR code) and margin around it. The generator uses error correction to ensure the code remains scannable even with a logo overlay. For best results, keep logo size under 30% and use our scannability checker to verify.
What output formats and sizes are supported?
Export your QR code in PNG, JPEG, WebP, or SVG format. PNG and WebP support transparency. SVG provides infinite scalability for print. Choose from preset sizes (256px to 2048px) or set a custom dimension. Higher error correction levels (L, M, Q, H) add redundancy — H can recover from up to 30% damage but creates denser codes.

You can access it just like any other folder in your Dropbox, depending on the permissions granted by the folder's owner. Remember, any changes you make to files in this folder will be visible to others who have access to it. In case you don't receive an invitation, you can ask the folder owner to resend it or check if the email address they used is correct.
